Great News!

Keri and I went to get our "level two" ultrasound yesterday and the foci (the little spot on our baby girl's heart) was no where to be found! All of the toes and fingers were accounted for and she is doing well. So well in fact that she is in the 75th percentile in weight for her stage of life! She is currently around 4 pounds and still has around 10 weeks left to grow. The doctor said that based on her size now her due date could be a little bit sooner than originally set but they are still going to keep it "officially" on January 28th.

On another note, my brother and his wife are going to be joining us for Thanksgiving and he is hoping for cold...maybe even snow. Well if this weekend was any indication of things to come, he may just get his wish! Yesterday afternoon as Keri and I were walking into the grocery store it began to lightly snow. Big fluffy snowflakes! By the time we were set to check out our car had about a half an inch of snow on it. As celebrated the snow, our fellow Chicago-ian's abruptly shifted into "here we go again" mode. They definitely did not display the same enthusiasm that we were expressing!
